Participate in a DNL Experiment

Interested students and members of the public are welcome to participate in experiments at the Decision Neuroscience Lab. What's Involved? We generally conduct two types of experiments in the Decision Neuroscience Lab:

  • Participants are asked to make decisions between options presented on a computer screen.
    or
  • Participants wear an electrode cap to measure brain activity using EEG (electroencephalography), a non-invasive, safe procedure.


Eligibility Requirements: Age 18 to 40. Normal or corrected vision (glasses okay). No permanent metal in head or shoulders. Must not be on a restricted diet, such as vegan or vegetarian. Sign Up
