Title: Periodic
solutions for a high-dimensional nonlinear system
Abstract:
We present results regarding the 2N-dimensional first-order
nonlinear system of differential equations that govern voltage and
current propagation in a particular type of electrical circuit.
This system can be viewed as a type of nonlinear wave equation that is
discrete in space but continuous in time. Keeping N arbitrary, we
will discuss the existence and linear stability of periodic solutions
for this system. The discussion of linear stability will include
a quick review of Poincare-Lindstedt and Floquet methods for
finite-dimensional dynamical systems.
