Title: The mysterious
Bellman function technique
Abstract: Nazarov, Treil, and Volberg introduced in the mid 90's a method of translating a dyadic problem in classical harmonic analysis into a problem involving the finding of a "Bellman function" possessing certain pseudoconcavity properties. We will present a few examples of this still not well-understood method.
