Midterm Exam Assignment

You may use your textbook but you should work alone. Please don’t look up the answers on the web or in other books.

All problems are from Folland and the numbers refer to the second edition.

The assignment is due at midnight on Sunday, March 29.

Chapter 4: 24, 27, 34

Chapter 5: 10, 25, 51, 59, 66

Chapter 6: (Section 6.2): 18 (This requires the reading from sections 3.1 and 6.2)

Read sections 1.4 and 7.1 and do problems 1 and 2 from section 7.1.

I will give some extra credit opportunities in class this week so please attend.
