James W. Ceaser is Professor of Politics at the University of Virginia, where he has taught since 1976. He has written several books on American politics and political thought, including Presidential Selection, Liberal Democracy and Political Science, Reconstructing America, and Nature and History in American Political Development. Professor Ceaser has held visiting professorships at the University of Florence, the University of Basel, Oxford University, the University of Bordeaux, and the University of Rennes. E. Busch is Professor of Government at
Claremont McKenna College, where he specializes in American government and
politics. Dr. Busch is the author of
Ronald Reagan and the Politics of Freedom, released in August 2001 by
Rowman & Littlefield Publishers. He has also co-authored The Perfect Tie: The
True Story of the 2000 Presidential Election with James Ceaser.
