Claremont Colleges Colloquium

The colloquium serves as a forum for high quality talks of general interest in pure and applied mathematics, and features a variety of speakers every semester, coming from a wide range of mathematical disciplines and different institutions, including local Southern California schools, as well as other American and foreign universities. The main goal of this colloquium series is to provide a focal point for mathematical exposition and interaction for the faculty and students of the Claremont Colleges. The talks run every Wednesday from 4:15 to 5:15 pm with refreshments preceeding them at 3:45 pm and wine & cheese reception following the talks. There will usually be a dinner hosted in honor of the speaker around 6:00 pm in one of the local restaurants.
